The Braintree Open Art Exhibition 2020 will be from Saturday 22nd to Monday 31st August, with submissions taken on the week beginning 10th August. BOARD GAMES CAFÉ COMING SOON!!! ☕️????♟ For all ages – come along and have a nice warm drink, socialise with new people and play a selection of board games! On September 14th we are hosting a quiz night with Purple Sector Entertainment, to raise funds for the Centre. Tickets are £5 per person with teams of between 3 and 6 people, and the winning team will get £50! It promises to be a fun night, so gather up your friends and get a team together! Following the success of the first Machine Embroidery class back in March, Maggie Harling will be returning to deliver a whole series of classes as part of the Braintree Summer School! There will be six Machine Embroidery workshops over the summer, covering various techniques and providing plenty of opportunity for experimentation. All of the classes will be suitable for any ability level and as standalone classes you can attend as many or as few as you like, and in any combination – however, we will be offering discounts and useful free gifts depending on how many you book!
